Primary Responsibilities

The Traffic Intern will assist the project team with the development of planning and design deliverables for state and local clients. Specific responsibilities include:

• Assist in the preparation of traffic and safety design deliverables
• Performing quantity takeoffs and development of project estimates
• Assist in the preparation of transportation and safety studies
• Conducting safety and operational analysis

*This is a part-time position based in our Louisville, KY or Brentwood, TN office.

Required Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate Civil Engineering program with a Transportation focus.
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Local candidate preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry
