Job Overview
As a Manufacturing EngineerIntern on our Aerospace, Defense and Marineteam, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Maintaining a safe working environment by ensuring all activities are carried out with safety in mind and safe working practices are adopted at all times
- Assisting improvements to processes, procedures and products to achieve cost savings targets
- Collecting data to provide solutions to production and technical problems
- Under the supervision of an ME, set up equipment, propose safety and/or cost savings initiatives
- Assisting Technical, Sales, Product Management and Quality personnel in resolving both daily and future operational issues
- Helping in creation and update of SOPs

What your background should look like:
- Currently completing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, ideally Sophomore or higher.
- Ability to complete assignments with supervisory oversight
- Demonstrate qualities of flexibility, integrity, and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and oral skills as well as strong presentation and written skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
