Job Description

Provide all engineering support and project management to major maintenance and capital improvement projects related to the Grafton facility infrastructure and plant equipment. This role will responsible for all equipment upgrades, repairs, and facility improvements as well work alongside Maintenance management to coordinate outages and use of resources.  
  • Develop project scope, objectives and timelines involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility for multiple projects at a time.
  • Ability to perform as a lead engineer on single or multi-discipline projects
  • Manage budget, schedule, materials, subcontractors and internal personnel on projects
  • Evaluate safety requirements and regulatory compliance of designs
  • Troubleshoot problems, offer solutions, work independently, and in a team setting
  • Ability to work with salaried personnel, hourly bargaining-unit employees, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Possesses necessary skills to design, test, and implement automated systems
  • Willingness to work in at heights, in confined spaces, and in hot, loud, and oily areas
  • Serve as an information resource to maintenance personnel

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 1-1/2 to 5 years of experience in plant operations or maintenance

  • Proven track record in Project management and CAPEX projects.
  • Strong Electrical aptitude
  • Preferred knowledge about Allen Bradley Micrologix PLC Controllers and use of RSLogix programming software
  • Preferred knowledge of SCADA automation programming
  • Preferred knowledge about NFPA70e, Arc-Flash safety, Switchgear maintenance, circuit breakers, transformers, and other medium (115kV to 2.4kV) and low voltage electric infrastructure
  • Preferred knowledge on how to read ladder logic and hydraulic diagrams
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Good communication and organization skills
