Job Overview

As a Manufacturing EngineerIntern on our Aerospace, Defense and Marineteam, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Maintaining a safe working environment by ensuring all activities are carried out with safety in mind and safe working practices are adopted at all times
  • Assisting improvements to processes, procedures and products to achieve cost savings targets
  • Collecting data to provide solutions to production and technical problems
  • Under the supervision of an ME, set up equipment, propose safety and/or cost savings initiatives
  • Assisting Technical, Sales, Product Management and Quality personnel in resolving both daily and future operational issues
  • Helping in creation and update of SOPs

What your background should look like:

  • Currently completing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, ideally Sophomore or higher.
  • Ability to complete assignments with supervisory oversight
  • Demonstrate qualities of flexibility, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and oral skills as well as strong presentation and written skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
