Job Description

Project Engineer:

Join MAS Building & Bridge as a Project Engineer in our Heavy Civil Construction Division. Play a vital role in project planning and construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in accordance with the Plans and Specifications. This position offers a dynamic blend of office and field tasks, providing valuable hands-on experience in diverse Heavy Civil projects including bridge, rail, marine, utility and roadway construction.


Responsibilities:

  • Daily interaction with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and Craft personnel to support planning, scheduling, material procurement, and subcontractor management.
  • Review of Plans and Specifications to ensure compliance with all contract requirements.
  • Site inspections for quality, safety, and daily work progress and cost coding.
  • Preparation of required submittals, RFI's, payment requests, and Change Orders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Previous internship in heavy civil construction is preferred, but not required.
