Overview

TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Construction Management Interns for our Summer 2024 intern program. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2024 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists.

This role will include participation in our Power Academy in Lancaster, PA for the first 6-7 weeks (Travel & Lodging covered by TRC).


Responsibilities

  • Visit numerous job sites with senior level construction managers.
  • Provide construction administrative support to specific job sites.
  • Create and/or review construction progress and safety documents.
  • Perform construction inspections and associated documentation.
  • Participate in TRC's Power Academy.
  • Participate in weekly construction progress meetings.
  • Complete additional tasks, as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old with valid Driver's License
  • Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess solid technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Be self-motivated and detailed-oriented.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checks.
  • Have a valid driver license and reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
  • Be willing to work over-time and travel out of town weekly.
  • Be able to lift at least 30 lbs.

Salary Range

USD $18.00 - USD $23.00 /Hr.
