What you'll be doing:

  • As a HR Systems Program Manager at Staples, you will work on HR strategic priorities that transform the way we work and the HR systems we use - Oracle HCM, Kronos, Cornerstone OnDemand.
  • You will be part of a team that will help our HR stakeholders reengineer our existing processes.
  • You will have the opportunity to impact all our HR teams and the thousands of associates and leaders across our organization.
  • You will partner with your HR Systems teammates to ensure the technical solutions are designed for all Staples' associates...not just HR.
  • You'll identify opportunities to streamline our HR process and improve our customer experience, but you'll also gather user feedback on our HR systems, tools, and solutions on a regular basis.
  • You'll build strong partnerships with our HR COEs, HR Shared Services, and other business groups across the organization as you take the lead building our strategic HR systems roadmaps, marrying our partner's needs with system capabilities.
  • You'll help manage strategic HR system initiatives across any one of our 4 core HR systems platforms, overseeing project milestones and deliverables.
  • You'll drive team collaboration and ensure progress toward goals while removing barriers and roadblocks along the way.
  • Innovation is important to us. You'll need to have a pulse on HR technology trends and emerging technologies, identifying new opportunities to advance our HR model and overall Staples work-life experiences.

What you bring to the table:

  • In depth knowledge of HR and payroll processes, HR data, HRIS structure and design
  • Relentless customer focus - identifying and anticipating customer requirements, expectations, and needs to ensure the best employee experience
  • Ability to influence, collaborate and build relationships with all levels of the organization creating an environment of mutual trust through open communication and feedback
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to frame analytic findings in a digestible and business friendly format that identifies key business implications
  • Tech Savvy skills - readily learns and adopts to new technologies and isn't afraid to use technology to be more productive and efficient
  • Ability to problem solve by exercising both creative and analytical thought, as well as a holistic perspective; identifies issues and seeks proper resolution or escalation as needed
  • Demonstrated program ownership and consistent delivery on commitments - great organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail
  • Comfortable driving progress with ambiguity; relying on initiative and the ability to make independent decisions
  • A passion for innovation and desire to make processes "easy, efficient and impactful" for our associates.

Qualifications :

What's needed- Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years' experienceimplementing or supporting HR systems such as Human CapitalManagement, Payroll, Labor Management, Talent Management, Applicant Tracking, Onboarding, Learning Management and Performance Management

What's needed- Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Oracle HCM knowledge would be a plus!
  • Demonstrated expertise with a project management tool (JIRA preferred)
  • Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies
