We are searching for an Injury Prevention Ergonomic Specialist to perform a wide variety of duties both within and in support of the Employee & Occupational Health Departments. Design and Implement injury prevention services and programs tailored to specific ergonomics hazards of the hospital and/or Occupational Health client companies. Also provide Athletic Training outreach services to contracted high schools. Provide functional or technical supervision over students and other employees in same or closely related classifications, where scope of supervisory responsibility is limited to direction, guidance, explanation, etc.

  • Hours: 40hrs
  • Shift: Day/Evening Shift; Varied hours
  • Location: Athletic Training Center - Dartmouth, MA
  • Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required


Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training or a related field is required
  • The position requires the ability to utilize appropriate equipment including lap top computers and digital cameras as well as experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Over three years of related work experience is required. Certification in Ergonomics is recommended. CPR Certification is required
  • BOC Certification required. Licensure as an Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
  • CPR Instructor certification recommended.
