The Opportunity: The Marketing Projects Manager is a key member of the marketing team and manages and supports traditional, digital, social marketing and production initiatives for Southworth and our collection of brands and private clubs.

This role oversees internal task management production, supports external agency relationships, and assists with implementing new marketing technology. They enhance marketing efficiency, align strategies with overall business goals, brand and creative strategies, and collaborate with corporate departments and key stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of brand management experience, marketing acumen, project management skills, and expertise in digital marketing to drive the success of our marketing initiatives that promote our distinctive private clubs.

Duties and Functions:

-Strategic Marketing & Brand Management:

  • Work closely with the CMO and Creative Director to develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy for assigned clubs and brands that resonates with the exclusivity and sophistication of private golf clubs and luxury real estate.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and club leadership to plan and execute tailored marketing campaigns to showcase the unique features and lifestyle associated with our private golf clubs and luxury real estate to drive interest and lead conversion to real estate and membership sales.
  • Collaborate with assigned club operations teams to cultivate and enhance the brand identity, ensuring alignment with the values and aspirations of our discerning clientele. Lead cross-functional teams to integrate marketing and brand strategies into the overall operation of the clubs.
  • Assist in the development of tracking reports and analytics for core competitive set and target market customer insights and incorporate them into club and brand marketing plans.

-Project Management Excellence:

  • Leverage strong project management skills to oversee marketing projects across the entire portfolio of clubs, ensuring seamless execution from concept to completion, on time and on budget, and providing communication to key stakeholders along the way.
  • Work with club marketing managers and operation teams to establish and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Director of Digital Strategy to develop workflows and processes that manage production with internal resources and agency partners and effectively communicate to internal clients the status of their club-specific projects.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain optimal marketing production and campaign approval systems and quality control and tracking programs that promote accountability and effectiveness and ensure excellent execution.

-Communications:

  • Point person on the marketing team to manage the editorial calendar and assist in developing content for the blog and social media.
  • Collaborate with club management teams to support member communications.

-Digital Marketing Expertise:

  • Work closely with the Director of Digital Strategy to help drive digital marketing strategies and initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing, tailored to the unique characteristics of the luxury real estate and private golf club sectors.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends in digital marketing and integrate cutting-edge techniques to enhance online visibility and engagement.

-Industry Experience:

  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the private golf club and luxury real estate sectors, staying abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor landscapes.

-Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Foster collaboration and open communication across teams, including creative, digital marketing, and sales and operations.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications Standards:

  • Proven experience as a Brand and/or Marketing Manager in luxury hospitality, real estate, and/or private golf clubs: Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive interest and conversion to sales in a lifestyle industry.
  • Project Management Expertise: Track record of successfully managing marketing projects for high-end real estate, ensuring excellence in deliverables within deadlines and budgets.
  • Digital Marketing Proficiency: Expertise in digital marketing channels, tools, and analytics with the ability to develop and execute effective digital marketing strategies.
  • Strategic thinking: Ability to think strategically, identifying opportunities to elevate the brand presence and market positioning of clubs and brands.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative Team Player: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and inspire excellence.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in analyzing market data and performance metrics to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field: Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience or working knowledge with the following systems a plus HubSpot, MailChimp, Monday, Jonas, Adobe Creative Cloud.
