Job Description

The Community Support and Recovery Services program here at Community Care Alliance is seeking a Team Leader to lead our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. The mission of this multidisciplinary team is to provide comprehensive community support to individuals experiencing serious and persistent mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. The treatment needs of these individuals are often complex, and they require more intensive support than traditional outpatient mental health or psychiatric rehabilitation services. We are looking for candidates that have 2-3 years solid community-based experience working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness, demonstrate leadership capabilities, excellent oral and written communication skills and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment serving a population with complex bio-psychosocial needs. You must also have training and experience with providing supervision, case management, crisis intervention, advocacy, counseling, consultation, substance abuse treatment, health education and other supportive services.

On team ACT, Team Leaders are responsible for a variety of tasks, including:

  • Provide clinical oversight in evaluating client's safety and clinical needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide training to supervisees in regard to their responsibilities and tasks, documentation requirements, and program policies and procedures.
  • Oversee ACT program operation service targets are met, health and wellness activities are implemented, and care coordination is facilitated.
  • Lead daily team meetings to organize the day's activities.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, typically 8:30 - 5, but there is room for flexibility.

Education/Licensing Requirements:

  • LICSW, LMHC, LMFT
  • 2-3 years solid community-based experience working the adult SPMI population.
  • Valid Driver's license and reliable vehicle.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
