eClinicalWorks (eCW) is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to report out of our Westborough, MA location. The Learning and Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in implementing, managing, and enhancing learning and development initiatives within eClinicalWorks. The specialist collaborates cross-functionally to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that align with the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Program Development:
  • Collaborate with Department heads/Manager/Team Leads to identify training needs and develop comprehensive learning programs.
  • Design and implement innovative learning solutions that address skill gaps, promote employee development, and support organizational growth.

2. Content Creation and Curriculum Development:

  • Create engaging and interactive training materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and other multimedia resources.
  • Develop and update training curriculum to ensure relevance, accuracy, and alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.

3. Training Delivery and Facilitation:

  • Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars using various delivery methods, including instructor-led training, virtual classrooms, and self-paced modules.
  • Ensure effective transfer of knowledge and skills by employing adult learning principles and incorporating interactive learning techniques.

4. Performance Evaluation and Feedback:

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and performance metrics.
  • Solicit feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training content, delivery methods, and overall learning experiences.

5. Learning Technology Management:

  • Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other technologies to administer, track, and report on training activities and learner progress.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in learning technologies to enhance the organization's learning ecosystem.

6. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with HR business partners, department managers, and other stakeholders to identify learning needs and align training initiatives with strategic business goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development by promoting awareness of available resources, opportunities, and career paths.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Learning and Development, Talent Development, Corporate Training, Instructional Design, and/or Instructor-Led training (virtual and/or classroom).
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.) to create and deliver training content.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build rapport.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Passion for both learning and professional development, with a commitment to staying current on industry trends and best practices.
  • Certification in training, instructional design, or related credentials a plus.
