MGH Nutrition Services is interviewing for a full- time, 40 hour/week permanent registered dietitian position. This position will provide nutrition services to 3 Community Health Centers- MGH Chelsea Health Center, MGH Charlestown and Everett Family Health. This position would provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to a culturally diverse adult and pediatric patient population. A competitive candidate would have experience in both individual and group counseling.
English/Spanish speaking bilingual candidates are strongly preferred!
Responsible for the comprehensive delivery of medical nutrition therapy using evidence based practice. Screens, assesses, implements nutrition care plans; documents, performs discharge planning and completes referrals for general patients; coordinates patient care with Food Service Staff if necessary; adheres to departmental and hospital policies and procedures

Explain the impact of their decisions on the cost of delivery of health care and be accountable for those costs.
Demonstrates an appreciation and understanding of the interdependence of all areas of NFS in successfully providing optimum nutrition care.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, and/or REGISTRATIONS (if applicable):
Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration - required
Licensed Dietitian - Commonwealth of MA - required
EDUCATION:
BS in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related subject required / MS preferred
EXPERIENCE:
Clinical experience desirable but not required
