Your Role

Mission

You will be exposed to the Atlas Copco Vision and Core Values that make up the organization. Contributions will be made through warehousing functions outlined below.

Roles and Responsibilities

Order fulfillment, shipping/receiving (30%) - Pick parts for customer orders using appropriate material handling equipment as needed. Pack materials and products for shipment to customers, create packing slips, entry of order information in shipping system (e.g., FedEx, UPS). Write bill of ladings for truck shipments. Receive and warehouse incoming parts, periodic inventory of stock, warehouse/shop maintenance, keep inventory highly organized in accordance with our ISO9001 procedures (includes Nonconformance process). Organize and process parts returns.

Parts & Equipment delivery/pickup (20%) - Inspect arriving goods for any damage and document outgoing goods to show condition when leaving. Use an assigned system to track deliveries.

Mechanical Service (15%) - Work with service technicians in the warehouse to learn how to troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning compressors, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs with assistance and guidance as suggested by diagnostics and assessment. Prior to and following preventative maintenance and repairs, test and document the proper operating parameters of the compressor. Perform services and overhauls on compressors, elements, and dryers with supervision.

Shared Regional Tools (15%) - Maintain the regional shared tools. Using current tool tracking software to ensure check-out, check-in, calibration, condition, and inventory. Ensuring the tools leave and return complete and in working order.

Warehouse Activities (20%) - Maintain a tidy and highly organized environment. Ensure all machines are color tagged, everything on racking is clearly identifiable, and keep aisles and walkways clear at all times. Arranging for proper waste disposal per ISO like oil, electronics, scrap metal, etc. Ensure Technicians working in the shop are safe and maintaining a tidy work area.

Contribute to positive Company branding by projecting a knowledgeable, professional, and customer-oriented image to customers.

Perform all duties in accordance with Atlas Copco standards, while always striving to understand the needs and expectations of the customer.

Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees considered necessary to get the job done. Always promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment.

Working towards a high school diploma. 3.0 GPA desired.

Skills

Willingness to learn with strong self-management and professionalism skills. Able to complete work within assigned deadlines. Computer proficiency as required for communication, research, work orders and programming various controllers. Excellent customer service skills. Must be fluent in English.
