Job Description:
The Patient Enrichment Assistant (PEA) will provide support to staff who provide direct care to residents under the supervision of a nurse and perform other duties assigned by nurses and other clinical and administrative leadership. The PEAs collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maximize the quality of life for the residents. They are responsible for performing a variety of functions as assigned.

* This position demands good mental and physical health including able to lift more than 25 pounds, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and work a flexible schedule, and must be able to move continuously during work hours.
* She/he may be required to perform tasks, which involve exposure to visible blood contamination or reasonably anticipated blood contamination. The PEA must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of infectious bodily secretions or materials in accordance with the OSHA and CDC Standards.
