The Advanced Practice Nurse Intern (APN-I) functions interdependently with the physician and nursing staff to provide services necessary for health promotion, prevention of disease and disability and health maintenance to individuals across the life span. • Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Minimum of 3 years experience in appropriate clinical specialty.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
• National Certification preferred, required within 6 months of hire.
• Must have APRN education completed within 4 years of hiring anniversary.
• 3 years registered nurse clinical experience in an acute care setting required
• Current Healthcare provider BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification if working with adults required in acute care environments.
• Current PALS certification if working with children required in acute care environments.
• Current NRP certification if working with neonates required
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English (verbal/written)
